Cultural smithing, racial tailoring and Velious tailoring require
several brewed tempers and tanning agents. Note that ALL smithing
tempers can be brewed by brewers of ALL races. Race restrictions
are only for the smith working on the appropriate racial smithing
item. These items are all combined in a brew barrel.

- ice goblin blood: from various ice gobbies in Permafrost/Everfrost
- iksar blood: various iksar, with spellcasting ones seeming
more likely to drop it (i.e., iksar necromancers in Sebilis jail);
noted zones are Field of Bone, Warsliks Woods, Lake of Ill Omen
and Sebilis, also dropping off iksar model mobs in Dulak.
- imp blood: fire imps in Lavastorm (hint: fire elementals
will kill fire imps if they find the imps before you do, so be
sure to go on killing sprees), imp protectors in Sol B (Nagafen's
Lair)
- lava rock - fire elementals (Lavastorm, Najena, etc.), Fire

- paeala bark - sold by merchants
- yew leaves - ground spawn in Wakening Lands; rare forage in
Wakening Lands. According to VI, such ground spawns do NOT have
a fixed location, but certain
areas seem to have more of a chance at containing a ground
spawn than others.
