Gnome Racial Robes

The final robe combines must be performed by a gnome, due to the fact that the NPC will only give out the no drop patterns to someone of the same race as they. Illusions will not work to obtain another race's patterns. The robes themselves are tradeable, and can be worn by INT casters of any race. Spell research combines can be performed by any INT caster in their advanced spell research containers available in the Gulf of Gunthak. Shears are returned on all ribbon combines. Dye components are foraged, as well as mob drops in the same zone in which the items can be foraged. The spell research items other than parchment and quill (vendor sold) are random mob drops off higher level mobs throughout the world.

Gnomes may receive their no drop oxidized robe pattern by telling Tesil Gludien (found in Ak'Anon at 1194, -720) "I need a robe pattern"
